PAINTINGS
What medium are your original paintings?
Currently, I work mainly in water based mediums – acrylic paint, inks and pencils, and collages with painted papers. Further details may be listed alongside each piece. I use birch panels or paper as a substrate. Acrylic paint is mostly UV resistant and the cold wax finish gives it a nice sheen as well as a protection.
Are your paintings framed?
It varies. If the birch panel is not cradled I sell them framed, with the option to be unframed if this is your preference. Cradled panels are unframed; many people prefer this more modern look and it means it can be shipped without costing you more.
Will my painting be ready to hang?
Yes, all paintings will come with picture wire already fixed and ready to hang.
LIMITED EDITIONS
The digital art was created on an iPad with an Apple pencil. It is printed with archival pigment inks on a heavyweight fine art archival paper, and occasionally on a white blended-fabric canvas featuring an extremely finely woven structure. The prints are finished with a UV and water-resistant varnish.
They are signed Limited Editions (1 of 5), with a Certificate of Authenticity, mounted on dibond with a floating frame – ready to hang. Dibond, an aluminum composite, is comprised of two ultra-thin 0.3mm aluminum panels sandwiched around a polyethylene core. It is lightweight, rigid and will not delaminate or warp thanks to its low thermal expansion – making it a perfect permanent mounting solution for artwork. A few prints, mounted on polyethylene core ,are currently available with a frame, as the mount is less rigid than dibond. But they can be purchased unframed if you prefer to have them framed to your taste.
